How does the silent auction work?
We will be using mobile bidding for the duration of the auction. Once you have registered on the site, you will receive a text with a link to view all items. You will be able to use your smartphone/tablet to keep up with the status of your bids and continue bidding until the auction closes, or you can place bids directly on your desktop. You can be the winning bidder wherever you are in the world!
How to Bid
1. Register or Sign In
2. Click the "Items" tab or button at the top of the page
3. Select an item you'd like to view or bid on
4. Choose amount - you can use the suggested bid or bid a higher amount.
TIP: Try using the auto-bid feature - it will make sure you're not outbid until the bidding goes over your set amount!
5. Click bid and watch your item!
How do I know if I've been outbid?
You will be notified via text if you have been outbid. Keep an eye on your favorite items! If you are NOT receiving the text messages make sure you have the correct mobile number under your profile. The texts will continue to notify you when you have been outbid or reached your maximum bid. When the silent auction closes, you will also receive a text message if you won any items!
How do I pay for my item once I win?
We require that you put a credit card on file when bidding on items for an easy, quick check out. Any credit or debit card will work. At the end of the night on 11/6, you will be able to go to your activity and check out with just a few clicks! If you prefer to pay by check, please reach out to Mallory Bendyna ([email protected]) for information on how to send in your payment.
How do I collect my winnings?
An SFS staff member will contact you after the auction closes on 11/6 with all the pertinent information you need to know for the next steps in fulfilling your auction win. Keep an eye on your email inbox!
Curbside item pick up will be on the following days:
Friday, November 7, 8:00 am - 3:00 pm
Monday, November 10, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm
Tuesday November 11, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
