Every Labor day Camp Lakeview does a 5K to help raise money for camp scholarships for kids who can't afford to go to camp. In the last 3 years they have had more and more request for scholarship. There are a lot of kids that want to come to camp but can't without these scholarships and most of the time they are the ones that need camp the most.
My goal is to reach $950 which is enough for two full scholarships.
I'm trying to raise this money by Labor day and on Labor Day I will run a 5K(hopefully in under 25 minutes with God's help).
I've been a camper here for years and this summer was my first summer that I got the amazing opportunity to work at camp on Junior Staff as a Junior Wrangler and it was amazing, so I know how amazing and wonderful this place is and all the good that comes from it along with the faith and friendships that grow here and I am trying to help it grow more next year with your help.
