The black walnut top used for this stunner was crafted from felled trees on Gerrow Smiley's property bordering the Preserve in High Falls. The elm base provides lovely contrast to the dark top.

Josh's designs are inspired by the patterns and shapes he sees in nature, such as the effects of wind on water, water on stone or the arching of a tree's branches. Josh finds fulfillment in creating things that will last and be enjoyed for generations.

Get your hands on a set of four of the highly coveted, limited edition, handmade Rock The Ridge pottery mugs. Created by local artist Cheyenne Mallo, these are four of only 60 mugs created this year for Rock The Ridge 2025. The topo map design highlights the Testimonial Gateway, legs 1 and 4 of the course. Two have a pale yellow glaze and two have a pale green glaze. Mugs hold 8 - 10 ounces each (3.5" tall), are dishwasher safe and extremely comfortable to hold.

Site Visit and Analysis with Angela Sisson

Learn about your landscape and how to start a pollinator garden or how to reduce your lawn with a native meadow. The first step in changing to a more nature-friendly landscape is an analysis of your property. The process of establishing native plants is oftentimes very different from conventional horticultural practices. Instead of amending garden soils, or installing irrigation, native-plant landscaping relies more heavily on the existing site conditions.

During a site visit we will look at existing conditions of the landscape such as: plant species (including invasive plants); sun and shade; moisture; soil type; slop, drainage, views; and history of the property. We will discuss your ideas about how you would like to use your property. After the visit, you will receive a written report detailing your site conditions and everything we talked about including my recommendations.
