Note from the artist:

"I have been a maker since I was a little girl. My inspiration are the colors, shapes and minute details of the beauty of nature surrounding me. This chair is titled 'Garden Magic', inspired by the changing landscape of my garden and the critters that live there."

Bring Garden Magic to your own space, bid now!

Note from the artist:

"We are the Music Makers and we are the Dreamers of Dreams" from the poem 'Ode', embodies the whimsy I try to bring to my teaching. Fantasy and imagination sing in children's hearts causing a well-loved rocking horse becomes a fantastical unicorn."

Note from the artist:

"Recently, I moved to the Pacific Northwest, a dream that had taken some time to come to fruition. As an artist, I often practice looking as a means of reflection and the practice of finding magic, healing, and deeper meaning in the routine parts of my life. The chair is a seat for using one's creative practice to access more profound truths and bring spiritual awareness into the everyday world. The imagination is part of the wild nature in art and can be beyond the visible world or even have the potential for a new reality, rather than being mere escapism. With a collective wisdom, symbols, and archetypes of storytelling, we have the potential to go to new places even where we currently sit."

Note from the artist:

"My inspiration is a recurring dream I've had since I was a child. A library overgrown by a forest, with books and trinkets to explore. I explored and learned new media techniques to make my dream come to life in this chair. As I go through my journey as an artist, I find myself learning how to embrace my dreams to show me how to put beauty and kindness into the world."

Additional notes from artist: Mixed media, Acrylic paint, 2-part epoxy clay and 1:12 scale dollhouse furniture and items.

Note from the artist:

"From vintage military footlocker to treasure chest - THIS is the stuff of my wildest dreams as a child. Who never dreamed of adventures, mysteries to solve, what a skeleton key might open, finding the x that marks the spot, and secret hiding places? [...] I still have that pirate adventure loving kid in me! Enjoy my wildest dream."

Sales pitch

Note from the artist:

"My mother first taught me the magical power of art when I was a little girl. I drew magical art to help me make friends, protect from bullies and to do well on my school work. I have been creating ever since.
Upon discovering my love of mixed media and oil colors I began painting my enchanted scenes of fairy women and enchanted animals, starry forests and shining moons. My paintings serve as magic mirrors empowering viewers to manifest their dreams and provide guiding stars to seek out happily ever after.
For this chair, I imagined a child and a dragon who meet nightly as she closes her eyes in this world and opens them into the dream world. The title of the chair is "The Dragon Wildling".
