ECBOR believes in BizTown's goal to educate young students about economics, how local businesses work and entrepreneurship - skills that contribute to a healthier local economy and better future workforce. BizTown gives students a hands-on experience to learn about various careers- including those in real estate such as real estate broker, property manager, appraiser, which helps build future talents. This unique program fully aligns with ECBOR's goal to invest in our local community. About the Team: Toni Bontrager and Patty Miller are both REALTORS who serve on the Elkhart County Board of REALTOR'S Leadership Team. Toni Bontrager is the current Board President and Patty Miller is a Past President and currently serves as Chair of the Member Engagement Committee. The Elkhart County Board of REALTORS has been involved with the JA Biztown project since its inception. About Patty:
Patty has been in Real Estate since 2004. Her designations include E-Pro & SRES (Senior Real Estate Specialist), she is also a graduate of IRLA 2016. Patty served as the President of the Elkhart County Board of REALTORS in 2020 and 2021 and was named Realtor of the Year in 2021. Patty currently serves as an ECBOR RPAC Trustee and Chairs the Member Engagement Committee. Patty also volunteers as a CASA for Elkhart County. She is the Managing Broker of Century 21 Circle South Bend, Elkhart and Middlebury offices. Patty is specially trained to work with military families on the move. Patty is married with 2 sons; 5 grandchildren & 1 dog.
About Toni:
Toni began her real estate career in 2003 and is currently a REALTOR with Berkshire Hathaway Home Services. She is licensed in Indiana and Michigan and is currently the President of the Elkhart County Board of REALTORS and serves on the Board of the Indiana Regional MLS. Prior to serving on the Board, Toni chaired ECBOR's Marketing Committee and organized ECBOR's first ever 5K Race in Middlebury. Over the course of several years, Toni and her team raised over $40,000 for local organizations such as LoveWay, Boys & Girls Club, Ribbon of Hope and Elkhart Co. Humane Society. Toni was recognized as ECBOR's REALTOR of the Year in 2019. Toni has been married to her husband Tony Spencer since December of 2022. Together they have 5 children, 2 son's in laws, and 6 grandchildren. They both enjoy their new life navigating the St. Joe River and traveling when time allows.
