Afton Fraser , born and raised in New York, is a former actress who has appeared in films and television. She developed a love for classic movies at a young age, which led to the publication of her first book "Hollywood Picks The Classics." Her second book "Point To Happy" was a collaboration with her mother and sister for kids on the autism spectrum. Afton lives in Greenwich, Connecticut with her three sons Griffin, Holden and Leland. She hopes to channel her inner Ginger Rogers to raise money for a cause close to her heart. Her son Griffin is a child with autism, and Abilis provides services and support for those with special needs. Abilis works to create lives of joy and meaning for these vulnerable members of society.
At 25 years old, Andre DeNunzio is a vibrant and dedicated member of the Abilis Community, living independently in a cozy studio apartment in Darien, where he's proudly called home for the past four years. Known for his compassionate spirit and strong voice, Andre is a passionate advocate for individuals with special needs, frequently speaking at local events to raise awareness and inspire others. He is deeply committed to championing both his own needs and those of his community with confidence and pride. A devoted sports enthusiast, Andre brings that same energy and enthusiasm to his academic pursuits. He currently attends Connecticut State Community College in Norwalk, where he is studying Business Administration with a focus on Marketing, determined to turn his passions into a purposeful career. Andre is excited to be dancing this year for his first time at the Dancing with the Stars event.
Grace (12) and Anna Galatioto (10) can't wait to hit the dance floor at Dancing Stars of Greenwich for Abilis! They are dancing for their uncle Seth Ritch, who is an Abilis client, and all of his friends. Grace and Anna attend Greenwich Country Day School and dance at Greenwich Dance Studio. This is their first foray into ballroom dancing and they are loving it!
Dean and Alyssa Marrazzo are a newlywed couple who first started "dating" at ages 11 and 12, while in middle school in Chappaqua, New York. Now, they are residents of Greenwich. Alyssa participated in dance as a child and is currently an elementary school teacher in Scarsdale, New York. Dean played football growing up and now works for a financial technology company in Manhattan. Both Dean and Alyssa have a passion for fitness and began dancing at Fred Astaire to prepare for their first dance. Dean's mother initially went to Abilis for flower arrangements to display at parties, which led Dean and Alyssa to use their fantastic flower designs at their engagement party as well as other events with friends and family.
Elaine began her career as an elementary school teacher. She has four children of her own and is now the proud grandmother of eight. Dancing is both a hobby and passion for Elaine. She started dancing for fun as a child and loved to dance "rock 'n' roll" as a teenager. One day, she tried the waltz and decided she wanted to learn it. She found Fred Astaire Studios and has been a student for over 15 years. Elaine loves it and often encourages others to give it a try! She believes dancing is a health option to a social sport and has met wonderful people while having lots of fun. Elaine has always been attracted to organizations and causes that help the lives of children and those in need of extra assistance. She is excited to support Abilis and be a part of this fun event!
Karyn Anastasio began her career in the hospitality industry as a Catering Chef in New York City. After fifteen years in the kitchen, she transitioned to Front of House operations. In the following years, Ms. Anastasio served as Banquet Manager for Non-Game days at CitiField, held positions in Catering Sales and Management for all of David Burke's properties, and later contributed her expertise at Jean-Georges' Spice Market in the Meatpacking District. She joined Tamarack Country Club after participating in the management team responsible for reopening the Rainbow Room in 2014. Karyn has been instrumental in coordinating Tamarack Country Club's involvement with the Greenwich Dancing Stars Gala each year. This year, she will transition from working behind the scenes to taking an active role on the dance floor.
Laura Drynan is a lifelong resident of Connecticut. Laura was raised in New Canaan, and later moved to Stamford with her two boys, she now resides in Norwalk. When Laura is not busy with work, she enjoys reading a book with her feet in the sand and game night with her family and friends. She is fortunate to work with many fantastic clients, which allows her to enjoy some traveling while meeting with them. Laura has over 30 years of investment experience and is currently a Partner at Bourgeon Capital Management, LLC. Bourgeon Capital Management LLC is a boutique investment counselor with a clear, single-minded focus on clients that can serve wealthy individuals and their families far better than a large investment company. Laura is integral to the firm's growth through client referrals and multigenerational families. For the past few years Laura has attended Dancing with the Stars in support of Abilis, an incredible resource for our community. She is extremely excited to be part of the fun this year.
Natalia Bychkova is a psychologist who is enthusiastic about understanding people and helping them grow. Ten years ago, she moved to the United States, and it has been an incredible journey of adaptation and discovery. She is a proud mother of two amazing children, ages 10 and 7, who bring joy and inspiration to her life every day. She is a huge fan of Pilates - it keeps her grounded and energized - and she loves traveling, as it allows her to explore new cultures and perspectives. One of her biggest dreams is to visit Japan and immerse herself in its unique traditions and beauty. Natalia considers herself an open, friendly, and approachable person.
Rita Mirella Lurito rediscovered her passion for dance after her career in banking and parenting. A Greenwich resident for over 23-years, she dances to rhythm ballroom, hip-hop, salsa, and jazz while enjoying golf and traveling with her husband and adult sons. Rita, a current Abilis Board member, and her family have supported Abilis' important mission in our community for over 18 years. She is delighted to combine her love of dance and her support for Abilis at this exciting event.
Trevor Crow hails from Cos Cob, CT, three years ago, having moved from Southport, CT. Trevor has been a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Certified Executive Coach in private practice, celebrating her 20th year in January 2026. She is also a published author of 2 books. Trevor has an MBA from Harvard University and was the nominated Democratic Candidate for the Connecticut State Senate in 2022 and 2024. With two grown children, a daughter and a son, Trevor has more time to pursue her love of dancing. Trevor has been competing in Smooth Ballroom for several years and is excited to dance with Clemens for this year! For Trevor, dancing is like figure skating, in which she competed from the age of 8-18, a full expression of a life well-lived! A life about connection and movement with love.
Victoria has been dancing with Fred Astaire for several years and with Marko for the past year and a half. Her personal experiences-caring for a stepson with a severe mental illness and living next to a child with autism-have given her a deep, firsthand understanding of the critical importance of Abilis Services, particularly in early intervention and family education. Over the course of her career as a television Producer and Director, Victoria has received numerous accolades, including the Action for Children's Television Award, multiple Emmy Awards, and honors from the New York Film Festival recognizing her outstanding work.
William J. Grace is a civil trial attorney based in New York, originally from Staten Island. He earned both his undergraduate and law degrees from Fordham University. For over three decades, William has practiced law alongside his brother Michael as a partner in their Westchester County firm, Grace & Grace. Their firm has achieved the highest rating for professional excellence from Martindale-Hubbell, a leading peer-review authority in the legal field. Two years ago, William relocated from Pelham Manor to Greenwich with his daughters, Elizabeth and Christine. In addition to his legal career, he is an accomplished visual artist and an active member of the Greenwich Art Society and its affiliated school.
