The Black Box Theater is a state-of-the-art theater, rehearsal, and event space, located on the main floor of the building. It has an AV system with sound, theatre-style lighting, a piano, and attached catering kitchen. The 150 seat theater can be used for several types of events such as small performances, rehearsals, pre-theatre VIP parties, conferences, weddings, birthday parties, holiday celebrations and other gatherings. The hallway and lobby areas are available for registration, food and wine concessions or casual dinner events. For events occurring after 6 p.m. or on Sundays, Colorado Ballet's parking lot is available to use in conjunction with the theatre. The theatre is 3,400 square feet and measures 85' x 40'.
One-Day Rental Includes:
? Use of the Black Box Theatre for one full day
? All administrative, cleaning, and staff fees
? Use of the attached catering kitchen, hallway, and lobby areas
? Any additional chairs, tables, or other event items
? Use of Colorado Ballet's parking lot (for events after 6pm and Sundays)
Conditions:
Subject to availability. Advanced notice of hallway and lobby rentals is required. When using the spaces for dance or other related events, it is recommended to wear the appropriate dance or non-street shoes.
