Chicago Night!
If you love all things Chicago, join three Deal parents -- South Side native Mary O'Neill and fellow Midwesterner Craig Cunningham, as well as co-host and former Chicago resident Kathleen Enright, on June 7 for a night of Windy City music, movies and delicacies including Giordano's deep dish pizza, Italian beef sandwiches, baked mostaccioli, Dove bars and local craft beer and cocktails (and yes, of course, Malort).
Join Maura Gaughan and Patricia Eisner on Thursday, May 22 from 5:30-8 for a fun night out at Core 72 for a Sip & Shop fundraiser for Alice Deal!
Shop for both women's and men's clothes and accessories. When you shop you will receive a 10% discount on all merchandise purchased at the event.
Tickets will include admission to the shopping event, light snacks, and wine.
Additionally, Core 72 will donate 10% of all proceeds to the school.
Core 72 is located at 5502 Connecticut Ave NW, Washington, DC 20015.
Come join Mr. Rottman for some amateur birding in Rock Creek Park! DC's premier park is a great place to find a wide variety of birds, especially as migrations continue in the spring. This very casual adventure will take us on an approximately 4-mile hike along dirt trails to see what we can find and will last about two hours. Red-bellied woodpeckers, tufted titmice, and chickadees are all common, but maybe we will be lucky enough to see a barred owl or pileated woodpecker! 20 spaces available.
Birding will take place on May 31 at 8:00am.
Join Principal Neal for an Ice Cream Sundae Party! Hot fudge? Caramel? Sprinkles? Grab your favorite toppings and build the perfect sundae with Ms. Neal and your friends. Up to 50 students can attend. Date to be agreed upon after auction.
