Monic Reyes, born and raised in San Antonio, Texas, has cultivated a lifelong passion for the arts, inspired by her mother and her fashion brand, Malen Reyes Couture.

As the creative director, she collaborated closely with her mother, which helped her gain the confidence to pursue her own artistic vision. Monic has explored various creative fields, including photography, set design, and makeup artistry.

In 2015, she began painting, and by 2017, she became a gallery-represented artist, showcasing her work in national galleries and international publications. Her bold abstract art features vibrant and monochromatic palettes, utilizing texture and various textiles to create mixed media works that possess a three-dimensional quality. With her imaginative spirit and determination, Monic aims to leave a lasting mark on the art world by evoking human emotions and fostering connections through her art.
