Microchips help return animals home safely and quickly. Dogs are 2.5 times more likely and cats over 20 times more likely to return home if chipped. All OTAT PDX animals are microchipped before being adopted.

Heartworm is entirely preventable and treatable, but the three rounds of treatment are uncomfortable and pricey. While a heartworm positive dog is recovering from treatment they must be on a strict exercise restriction to make sure their heart rate isn't too elevated. It's especially tough for young, energetic dogs. Your donation of $250 will help cover the cost of one round of heartworm treatment for a dog!

Sponsor a senior dog's dental!

Every dog deserves the chance to retire in a comfortable home free from pain. Many seniors are expensive to welcome, often needing at least a dental. A gift of $500 can change the life of a senior in need!

It's not uncommon for our dogs to need urgent medical treatment while with us. Your donation of $1,000 will help dogs receive the emergency care they need.
