This home is centrally located close to the lake, Malecons, main square, Lake Chapala Society (host to many daily events), and markets.

Ajijic is a charming pueblo magico nestled on the shores of Lake Chapala in the state of Jalisco, in central Mexico; it has become one of the largest populations for expats and retirees from all over the world. Ajijic offers a unique blend of modern amenities and traditional Mexican charm. Ajijic and the lake community sits at 5,000 ft. above sea level within the trans-Mexican volcanic belt. The lake on one side and mountains surrounding it provides a lovely setting to enjoy a moderate climate year round. Lake Chapala is 50 miles long and offers a lovely breeze to the town. There are many festivals, events and holidays year-round that bring visitors from around the world to this special community. It has a relaxed yet festive and charming vibe.

It is the perfect setting to enjoy a relaxing holiday with loved ones and family. Enjoy a night of lively music in the plaza or enjoy a stroll along the lakeside path. Visit the colorful Chapala handicrafts market, or daily markets around the lake. Relax and enjoy lunch or dinner with many restaurants to suit all tastes. Take a day trip to the Casacadas de Agua, a favorite spot with the locals and climb the waterfalls or swim in sparkling pools at the base of the falls. Try out the Regional Hot Springs, hiking paths, biking, or tour the many tequila distilleries for a day trip. You will find fantastic birding along the lake as well. Ajijic is a 45-minute drive from Guadalajara Airport, which brings many flights from the US daily.
