Join The Wetlands Institute's Executive Director on a guided ramble along the beach at Stone Harbor Point. During this 2-hour tour, she will introduce you to the natural history and wildlife of the Point and point out the amazing creatures you encounter along the way! This is a unique opportunity for your group of up to 8 to immerse yourself in the habitat of this beautiful beach. You'll learn about the animals and plants that make Stone Harbor Point their home, and discover the vital role our barrier islands play in the health of our coastal ecosystems and communities. All you need to enjoy this experience are binoculars (we can provide), comfortable shoes, and a sense of curiosity!

Be in the "know" when Dr. Lenore Tedesco takes you and a guest on a private boat tour to some of the Seven Mile Island Innovation Laboratory (SMIIL) project sites to learn first-hand about this innovative work. The tour may include a visit to Sturgeon and/or Gull Islands and the bird nesting colonies and other project sites to share the innovative marsh restoration and habitat creation projects. Learn about the wealth of wildlife and beauty of the back bays and marshes. This is a one-of-a-kind experience where you will see first-hand this important work. The two-hour tour will be by 16 ft skiff in the calm back-bay waters leaving from The Wetlands Institute dock.
