Spend a morning monitoring diamondback terrapin nesting areas with our Research and Conservation team. This popular experience is an exclusive chance for you and a guest to join us for hand captures at nesting sites or net captures in creeks. There is no better place to learn about diamondback terrapins than in the field with our knowledgeable staff. You'll see first-hand the techniques we use to study these unique turtles of the marsh and get to know individual details about their population. This one-of-a-kind opportunity will highlight the importance of our conservation programs for this species.

The chance to be a research scientist for a day is limited to two (2) guests for up to 2 hours on a mutually agreed-upon date in June 2026. Arrangements must be made at least one month in advance.
