Child Health Pickleball Tournament

Join us April 5, 2025 at the Edgeworth Club for the first ever Child Health Association pickleball tournament! 

We are thrilled to be hosting our first (and, hopefully, annual) pickleball tournament to raise funds for the Child Health Association community grant program.  Founded in 1923, the Child Health Association of Sewickley is an all-volunteer non-profit women's organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for children in Western Pennsylvania.  Child Health's mission is to nurture the whole child by supporting programs and services that directly address children's emotional, cultural, physical, educational, and recreational needs.  You can learn more about the mission of the Child Health Association by visiting our website:  www.childhealthassociation.org.

Your day of fun includes:

The brackets will be divided by skill level.  All players are guaranteed 3 games:

          Beginners (Mini Gherkins): Have held a paddle and can sometimes keep score.

          Intermediate (Bread and Butter): Can keep score and you play quite a bit.

          Advanced (The Big Dills): Can keep a rally going and play on a regular basis.

If you are new to pickle, start the day with a short clinic where you can learn the basics - taught by the racquet professionals from the Edgeworth Club. 

All players will receive a swag bag filled with goodies from our generous sponsors.  Lunch is included with a player ticket. 

If you are not playing, but you WANT to join in the fun, purchase a ticket for lunch and come to cheer on the players.

And while you are hanging around the courts, be sure to purchase tickets to win one of our amazing raffle baskets! 

Additional things to know about this event:

We will have a cash/chit bar - setup by the courts (weather permitting) or inside the Edgeworth Club.

Tickets for the raffle baskets can be pre-purchased during event registration -- or can be purchased the day of the event with cash or credit card.   

If you don't have a pickleball racquet, don't stress.  We will have extras! 

This is a co-ed tournament.  Your partner may or may not be of the same gender.
