Power Forward Gala

 Please join us on Thursday, September 25, 2025, for the inaugural Power Forward Gala which will be held at the Seaport Hotel, Boston.  It will be an important night as we gather to raise awareness and support for those suffering from the disease of substance use disorder in Greater Boston. 

 With your support, Power Forward can continue to end the stigma of addiction and provide recovery resources to MA communities.  Your participation will provide Power Forward Sobriety Scholarships to those seeking recovery.  You will also support the DOER Program (Dog Ownership Enhancing Recovery), which is the first of its kind promoting the joy of recovery and responsibility through the service and comfort of dogs.

We are happy to announce our first Champion Honoree, Hon. Martin J. Walsh, Executive Director of the National Hockey League Players Association.   As the former Mayor of Boston, Labor Secretary for our nation, and now as Executive Director of the National Hockey League Players' Association, Marty has been an unwavering advocate for those in recovery. As a person in long-term recovery, Marty has been a voice and champion for those seeking a life of sobriety. We know you will agree that our first awardee is a perfect choice for this honor.
