Join Cincinnati native and Cleveland Browns linebacker Jordan Hicks in Golfing for Awareness-an exciting new event that's all about championing young people with special needs and fostering a strong, inclusive community!
This fun-filled day features interactive golf games, delicious food, drinks, and celebrity photo opportunities, all while raising money for a cause that directly impacts our youth.
Proceeds will benefit True Strength Ability Awareness, with ticket sales, sponsorships and donations at the event going toward empowering local special education departments. These funds will provide vital resources for facility upgrades, life skill programs, and initiatives that promote inclusion and engagement for students with special needs.
ABOUT TRUE STRENGTH ABILITY AWARENESS
In February 2024, NFL player Jordan Hicks launched True Strength Ability Awareness with a powerful vision: to unite students and communities in celebrating Ability Awareness. The TRUE STRENGTH spirit is catching fire quickly in Ohio and beyond through True Strength Nights-third-party fundraising events, organized by local schools and students.
At a True Strength Night, students with special needs are honored throughout the event, including but not limited to being included in sports team's introductions, warm-ups and halftime activities.
Here's the best part: unlike other third-party fundraisers, True Strength Ability Awareness donates a portion of all proceeds raised from a True Strength Night directly back to the host school's special education department.
True Strength Ability Awareness is a project of Players Philanthropy Fund, Inc., a Texas nonprofit corporation recognized by IRS as a tax-exempt public charity under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code (Federal Tax ID: 27-6601178, ppf.org/pp).
