These decorated eggs were infertile eggs and each egg is unique and dated with the year it was decorated. The eggs are from the Greater Rhea. The eggs were cleaned out, dried, and decorated. There is a thin layer of sealant sprayed over the decoration, and the eggs should be kept out of direct sunlight.
