Logowear for Scholar School Group Activity

Our scholars participate in many sports teams and extracurricular groups at Staples, many of which offer custom logo wear for purchase. With your contribution, our scholars will be able to show their support and pride by purchasing a shirt or sweatshirt along with their teammates.

Pizza Night Every once in a while at Glendarcy House the scholars have a Pizza night. Whether it happens along with a movie night, sports game viewing, or other special event, having a night of Pizza and Wings is always a treat and a bonding moment for the house.

Private Lessons for a Scholar: Many of our scholars have passions and talents that they would like to develop by participating in private lessons in Westport. With your support, we can ensure each scholar is able to invest time, energy, and practice into a gift they have with a trusted professional to guide and inspire them.

College Tour for a Scholar

Your support helps a scholar explore college options and envision their future. Past tours have included multi-campus visits along the East Coast, offering first hand exposure to academic and campus life.

Study Room Refresh at Glendarcy House

The study room at Glendarcy House is in need of renovation. We would like to replace the desks, seating, storage, and artwork present in the space to ensure the scholars have an organized, comfortable, and clean space to study, work on projects, and meet with tutors.

Support a Scholar's Enriching Journey

Recent examples include traveling to Disney World to perform with the Staples Band, traveling to WashDC with We The People and the upcoming Orphenians' trip to Spain.

Help a scholar make the most of summer through immersive, educational experiences. Previous donor-funded opportunities have included on-campus college programs, intensive language immersion courses and international leadership trips.

The kitchen floor at Glendarcy House needs to be replaced. The kitchen is the heart of this home and after many years of high traffic use, the kitchen floors need to be replaced with a durable and long-lasting material. With your support we can complete this project over the summer so the floor is ready for a new school year.
