Heather is an award winning abstract painter and digital illustrator living in Massachusetts. She works at 14 Cedar Street Studios in Amesbury, a collective of over 20 artists working in varied media. Her studio is one of many that resides in an old mill building complete with floor to ceiling windows and amazing amounts of natural light.
Her work has been described as "painted with super power energy," "alive" and "full of raw emotion" bringing joy and peace to those who view and collect her work. Heather respects the words of other artists and was moved by Kathryn's comment in May 2024: "I love your process, and the beauty that comes from it."
Heather's work has been shown all throughout the United States and Canada in solo and group exhibitions and been featured in multiple magazines and newspaper across the country.
Heather is a ruptured brain aneurysm survivor, so she knows quite well the difficulty and trauma that a life-threatening illness can bring to an individual and family. It's inspiring to me to have watched Heather turn to painting during her rehabilitation many years ago, and to now see her today, a thriving human both in life and as an artist, who loves to give back.
