GOOD GRIEF PROGRAMS
Nights of Support (NOS)
Nights of Support (NOS), peer support groups at our family centers in Morristown and Princeton, support kids 3-17, young adults up to 30 years of age, and their caregivers. Through our nationally respected peer-support programming, Good Grief helps families develop healthy coping skills, provides a caring environment to process their feelings and fears, and creates a sense of hopefulness during a very difficult and uncertain time. Nights of Support includes our enrichment programs that support healthy recreating outside of group, as well as our Good Grief Expressions Camp.
Good Grief Schools (GGS)
Our school-based programs take a comprehensive approach to help children build resilience and to overcome loss and adversity. Good Grief Schools supports the entire school community through four components: (1) R2R, which teaches K-12 students how to build healthy coping strategies and resilience; (2) Good Grief Groups, which supports students grieving the death of someone important in their life; (3) Professional Development, which equips faculty and administrators to effectively respond to loss and adversity; and (4) Parent Education, which helps parents and caregivers become more supportive and responsive to the children in their lives.
