Our Lady Star of the Sea - Stella Maris Icon is a stunning icon crafted on alder wood and hand-gilded with gold leaf. It was created by the same Polish artist who created the icon displayed in the Jubilee Shrine at the Basilica. The cross, rosary, bracelets, and holy cards accompanying it are cherished mementos from the Jubilee Year.
This framed Basilica art is truly stunning. Step back to catch the overall beauty, but take a closer look to see how the image was executed.
The art piece was donated by the family of late parishioner Gregory Gieldon. It measures 32" x 27".
Photographer Clifford Price is a generous supporter of the Basilica. This year's canvas features the beautiful interior of the Basilica with a prayer superimposed on it:

Did you know that the Basilica of St. Josaphat is home to nearly 800 Relics of the saints?
The winning bidder of this unique opportunity will get a special tour and discussion in the Basilica's Reliquary courtesy of Father Bob Cook. You and your group, up to six people. will hear from Fr. Bob the stories and Biblical connections of the Relics.
Mass will be celebrated in the Relic Chapel, surrounded by the saints, before heading off to lunch at Old Town Serbian Gourmet Restaurant across the street.

Enjoy a delicious, homemade three-course meal of authentic Polish favorites prepared by Glen Kazmierski (and friends) using his grandmother Regina's traditional recipes.
Dinner will be served at the Basilica and includes a private tour of the church. Longtime docent (and History major) John Lenchek will focus on the Polish history depicted in the paintings and stained-glass windows.
