Join Voices for Children for an inspiring afternoon dedicated to uplifting the voices of children in foster care. Enjoy light bites, cocktails, and the breathtaking ocean views of Del Mar Plaza as we celebrate 45 years of vital work providing life-changing advocacy for children in our community through our Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) program. The only program in San Diego County dedicated to transforming the lives of youth in foster care by providing them with caring, trained, Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) volunteers who speak up for their needs, listen to their hopes and dreams, and stand by their side in court and day-to-day life.
The program will feature New York Times bestselling author Andrew Bridge and his latest book, The Child Catcher, where he chronicles his role in the longest-running, most bitterly fought mental health lawsuit in American history. It is the story of his personal redemption and the hope that justice for children is possible.
