I am a cisgender straight ally and have many queer and trans friends. I have been worried for their happiness and safety increasingly for several years. GSAFE has been a strong and positive source in our local schools and I wanted to create something that was spirited and positive. The little flowers and range of colors offer a bright contrast. I loved every moment of embroidering this.

As an older lesbian, I have strong admiration for young LGBTQ+ who are brave enough to honor their identities with pride. I wish I would have had GSAFE support services available to me when I came out 40 years ago. I want to share some of my hand crafts to support this worthwhile organization.
