Larimar Jewelry Set with Necklace, Earrings and Ring

Donated by the Dominican Republic Mission, this auction is for:

Larimar is a rare form of pectolite, which was discovered in 1974 and is only found in the Dominican Republic. It has an extraordinary blue appearance similar to the color of the ocean in tropical areas. The name "Larimar" comes from a combination of Lari and Mar and was given to the stone by a Dominican who named the stone after after his daughter Larissa and mar, the Spanish word for sea.

Proceeds from the sale of this Larimar will be used to help support a Community center and build homes for needy families. A Mission Team from Fusion Church will travel to Los Cocos in November of 2023 to build our 160th house. Gloria a Dios!
