FCA Surf - One Week of Surf Camp - Week of June 16-20

• This auction is for one week of Surf Camp for one camper - Week of June 16-20, 2025 in Ocean City, NJ

FCA Surf has been running surf camps for the public for almost twenty years at the 59th street beach and lifeguards monitor most of the beaches where we surf each day on soft and safe surfboards.

FCA Surf camps run for 8 weeks, five days a week (Monday through Friday), throughout the summer from 8am to 12pm, for $345. Surf camps are available for beginner and intermediate surfers ages 8 to 16 years of age who are capable swimmers. Campers are provided with surfboards and a rash guard for use during the camp week as well as a gear bag, FCA Surf t-shirt, sticker, and other resources to keep.

During surf camp, campers will not just learn to surf, but also learn about the ocean and the God who created it. We teach overall ocean safety and surfing techniques and etiquette in a fun environment.

Fun is had in and out of the water with students learning much more than how to surf. Camp coaches run contests and games that change day to day and week to week.

One Week of ACS Cougar Camp

The award-winning ACS Cougar Camp is open to boys and girls who are entering grades 1-7. In summer 2025, campers will enjoy 9 weeks of organized activities with varying themes each week that combine faith, fun, fellowship, exercise, and education. Campers can choose to attend one or more weeks and must also choose two or more days each week that they will attend.

Favorite Cougar Camp activities include STEM projects, playing ga-ga ball in our air-conditioned gymnasium, drawing and painting, hands-on learning in the school garden, cooking healthy snacks, and plenty of outdoor water play activities. Worshiping God through music and Bible story time are also part of the daily program. Weekly field trips include visiting the Atlantic City Aquarium, Birch Grove Park, and the Funny Farm Rescue, and going miniature golfing and bowling. All participants must bring their own lunch, but every Friday is pizza day (cost included in the camp fee). Snacks are provided daily. Register now to reserve your spot.

Larimar is a rare form of pectolite, which was discovered in 1974 and is only found in the Dominican Republic. It has an extraordinary blue appearance similar to the color of the ocean in tropical areas. The name "Larimar" comes from a combination of Lari and Mar and was given to the stone by a Dominican who named the stone after after his daughter Larissa and mar, the Spanish word for sea.

Proceeds from the sale of this Larimar will be used to help support a Community center and build homes for needy families.
