Laura is a mixed media artist and retired nurse-midwife working in oil, acrylics, watercolor, glass, and resin. Laura had her first art lesson at the age of 11 in oil colors. She went on to take classes off and on throughout her life. After retiring from the nursing profession in 2020, Laura was able to devote time to her art, focusing first on glass and resin work. Laura's work is exhibited at the Gulf Coast Arts Alliance Gallery and Fine Arts Festivals throughout Baldwin County, AL. Laura lives with her husband Pat on Bon Secour Bay in the Gasque community of Fort Morgan, AL.
