On behalf of the Nelson Family Life Foundation, thank you for joining us at the Kalahari Food & (Not Just) Wine Festival in Pennsylvania! From the delicious bites and incredible drinks to the live entertainment and meaningful conversations, it was a celebration to remember.
A special shoutout to our amazing silent auction bidders-your generosity helped us raise over $10,000! That's enough to bring a brand-new water point to an entire community in Africa, giving them access to clean, safe water. That's impact worth celebrating!
We're so grateful to everyone who showed up, bid big, and helped us get closer to the Kalahari mission of bringing the joy of water to 1 million people.
We're already counting down the days until next year's event!

A key highlight of the event is the Thirst for Change Silent Auction, which has raised funds to provide access to clean water for people without. In addition to the silent auction, you can experience clean water like it is the first time, when you meet our friend Grace, experience what it is like to walk with the weight of water and much more. The Silent Auction closed on Sunday, April 13, 2025, at 3:00 PM EST.
Winning bidders may pick up their items on April 13 between 3:30 PM - 5:00 PM at Registration Booth D in the Kalahari Pocono Manor Convention Center.
If you are unable to pick up your items in person and require shipping, shipping costs must be covered by the purchaser. Please note:
- No liquids of any kind can be shipped
- Some items may not be eligible for shipping
