Wyoming Game and Fish Commissioner Rusty Bell of Gillette, WY, has generously donated a 2025 Wyoming Game and Fish Department (WGFD) Commissioner's License for elk, mule deer, or pronghorn (winner's choice) to benefit Wyoming Agriculture in the Classroom (WAIC).

WAIC's mission is to cultivate students' understanding of Wyoming's vast resources, empowering them to become informed citizens and future stewards of the state's rich heritage. Core WAIC programs include WyoWonders, Bookmark & Beyond, Educator of the Year, and Educator Workshops.

• WyoWonders is a free, ready-to-teach curriculum for Wyoming educators and students in grades 2-5. These lessons explore Wyoming's core heritage industries while fostering critical thinking skills.
• Proceeds from this license auction will directly support WAIC programs, ensuring the continuation of natural resource education, teacher workshops, and youth engagement across Wyoming.

License Details

The purchaser will be responsible for resident or non-resident license fees, depending on the species selected. This Commissioner's License is independent of WGFD license draws or preference points.

• The purchaser selects the species (elk, mule deer, or pronghorn) and determines whether to hunt under a general license (for elk or deer) or a limited-entry hunt area/license type (for elk, deer, or pronghorn).
• Once WAIC notifies WGFD of the purchaser's contact information, the WGFD License Section will provide an affidavit for the purchaser to complete. The affidavit must specify the hunter, species to be hunted, and the selected hunt area/license type.

Important Notes

• This license cannot be used in Teton National Park-elk hunt areas 75, 77 or 79
• Once a hunter's name is submitted on the affidavit, the license is non-transferable.
• Any individual eligible to hunt in Wyoming is welcome to purchase this license.
