Each student in Ms. Buza's class created drawings of things that are important within their world. They then created a collage globe to show how we are all connected and part of one big world, together.

Celebrate the championship-winning Murch Boys Cross Country Team with a fun run in Fort Reno after school on Friday, May 30, from 3:30 - 5:30.

These fierce competitors placed first of all of DC in October, and you can relive the fun by joining this after-school activity!

See if you can keep up, and try your hand at a few of their favorite drills (yes, even hill sprints!). After the run, we will enjoy gatorades, pizza, and popsicles in the park.

Both kids (3rd grade +) and adults are welcome to join, each participant will need a ticket. If a child comes without an adult, they will need to be self-dismissed or information on their pick up will need to be provided.

Celebrate the beginning of the next school year with Karaoke!

Party will take place on Saturday, August 23rd.

Hosts Jaime Horn and Mathew Harkins will provide: Karaoke machine, unlimited lyrics, and a safe space to belt out your favorite tunes.

Football fans, expats, and the soccer curious alike: get your ticket to watch the Champions League finals outside at the Carrs. Along with the game you'll get served plenty of grilled meats and veggies, snacks, and beverages.

The Champions League final is on May 31, at 3:00pm, with the party beginning at 2:30 and going to whenever the game ends (or later!).

Each adult attendee needs 1 ticket - kids are welcome, no tickets needed. We will have plenty of soccer related games set up for them and a babysitter.

Gather on a Saturday June 28 at 8pm for an hour of movement followed by tea, snacks, and wine. In the Jewish tradition, havdallah marks the end of Shabbat and the transition into the new week. Mark this time with movement and meditation among other Murch parents.

No experience is required. This is open to anyone seeking a fun and relaxing experience, all are welcome!

Host and Murch Mom Stephanie Tankel is director of lifelong learning at Washington Hebrew Congregation. A certified yoga/meditation instructor, she loves blending ancient traditions with a contemporary playlist and lots of joy.
