Their strength and resilience have inspired me to do what I can to support efforts that bring hope, resources, and research to those affected. By participating in this auction, I try not only to honor their journeys but also to contribute to a collective effort to fight back against cancer. Sharing a lunch hour is a small gesture, but it's a meaningful way to connect with others and drive awareness for a cause that impacts so many lives.

I strongly believe that donations play a crucial role in funding research and treatments that not only improve survival rates but also help patients maintain their dignity throughout their journey. By contributing my time, I hope to support the ongoing fight against cancer and honor the memory of my loved ones.

Because when cancer affects one of us, it affects all of us.

Big change comes in many different shapes and sizes but most often times it is not the result of Herculean efforts it's doing the little things over and over that get us to where we want to go. By donating something as simple as a lunch and just a small portion of our day we are doing just that in our fight against Cancer. So the question shouldn't be why did I choose but rather why wouldn't you.

How do I give back? CIOs Against Cancer gives us all hope in the fight against cancer. The money we raised over the last few years is astounding, especially for a group of our size. We all know someone who's been impacted by cancer. A lunch is the least I can do.

I support the American Cancer Society for many reasons but more personally, both friends and family have been directly impacted by cancer, and witnessing their struggles ignited my determination to contribute to the fight against this disease. The ACS's commitment to research, patient support, and advocacy resonates deeply with me. By supporting them, I feel connected to a larger community working together to make a difference in the lives of those affected by cancer. Donating an hour of my time with others who share the same determination to find cures for this disease is just one small way I can help the cause.

My extended family has been devasted by cancer and thus I want to help save lives in the future from this horrible disease. I lost two of my grandparents and my mother-in-law to cancer. In addition, both of my parents and one sister beat cancer. Also, NMDP, helps to save's patients' lives everyday with blood diseases, including cancers. Thus, being part of this CIO Auction fits right into my personal mission of helping patients from ugly diseases, including cancer. I am hopeful that giving can help to beat cancer once-and-for-all!
