The "Wizard of Pawz" incorporates symbolic elements influenced by both Wicked and The Wizard of Oz. The design uses various fabrication techniques and pet friendly materials to create distinctive forms, such as Glinda's tiara and Elphaba's hat. The hat serves as the roof - enclosing the two forms which sit on a yellow brick plinth. The face of the tiara features an opening, containing a pillow bed inserted inside. There's no place like home - especially with a cozy bed for your four-legged friend.
The featured model is Freckles. She was a medical foster first and then adopted by Mary Butler with CannonDesign, from the SPCA of Texas, in late October!
