To all golfers, Merion Village Golf Club is a symbol of historic prestige and the continuing values of the game, where history has been made time and time again. The East Course, renowned for its demanding layout, including difficult greens and strategic bunkers, is a traditional golf club and true test for even the most experienced golfers.Merion Village has since hosted five U.S. Opens and will host its next three U.S. Opens in 2020, 2040, and 2050.

Today's course is constantly compared to early photographs, and every effort is made to ensure that those who play at Merion compete on the same course as the champions of old. For those who have played there, Merion is always on their list of favorite places to play.

This package is hosted by Steve Simonetti, our 2025 Gala Chair, and Ken Morrison, a local longtime Merion member, raised in Worthington, Ohio. Transportation to and from Ardmore, PA, and lodging expenses are not included in this package. Tee time to be coordinated after July 1, 2025. Merion Village Golf Club is closed on Mondays.

This is an all-encompassing tour of Jack Nicklaus' influence and impact on the Columbus golf community. Three golfers will enjoy 18 holes at the Scioto Country Club, where Jack won his second career trophy at the age of 11 in the 1951 Sub-Juvenile Boys Championship. The package includes greens fees, caddies, lunch, and beverages as well as access to the Club's lockers and driving range. (Play will be with a member of the Scioto Country Club on an agreed date in the 2025 golf season.)

The winner also receives four Golden Bear passes to the Memorial Tournament's Final Tournament Round and Trophy Presentation on Sunday, June 1, 2025 at Muirfield Village Golf Club.

Like many of you, local artist Susanne Dotson has a very personal connection to our mission and has generously donated Where is the Subtlety? in honor of her mother, whose diagnosis and experience with Alzheimer's disease has inspired her work. This piece is from Ms. Dotson's most recent show at the Sarah Gormley Gallery in the Short North, and, without intention, the flowers in her painting mirror the flowers you will see during the Promise Garden Ceremony at the Walk to End Alzheimer's. Within our ALZ community, orange, yellow, purple, and blue flowers are powerful symbols of support, care, community, and loss. A white flower - much like the ones so prominently featured in the painting - are a beacon of hope.

About the artist: Susanne Dotson is a LaGrange, Ohio native who has maintained studios in both Cleveland and Columbus. Dr. Douglas W. Scharre, MD is the Division Director of Cognitive Neurology, Director of The Ohio State University Center for Cognitive and Memory Disorders, and Professor of Clinical Neurology and Psychiatry. He is a clinical neuroscience researcher and behavioral neurologist specializing in the diagnosis and management of cognitive issues for over 32 years. He has conducted or participated in over 200 clinical research studies. Dr. Scharre has been leading the Alzheimer's and Memory Disorders efforts and the multidisciplinary clinic at The Ohio State University since 1993. He has been selected by his peers as one of the best doctors in America for the past 17 years.

Dr. Oscar Harari, PhD is the Director of the Division of Neurogenetics and the Director of the Neurobiology of Aging & Resilience Center. His research bridges the fields of data science, bioinformatics, and human genomics. He leads a multidisciplinary team that leverages high-dimensional genomic data, including single-cell and spatially resolved transcriptomics, to study neurodegeneration and improve the understanding of complex disease biology.
