A note from the chef...

My mission is to create delicious and healthy food and unforgettable food experiences. I grew up in Mexico surrounded by great food and many well-known Chefs. I have lived in CT for over 20 years, but while there are a lot of Mexican restaurants here, none of the food tastes as good as it does in Mexico. I found myself missing the flavor of authentic Mexican food which inspired me to open Tumu. The recipes I use span many generations and are often over 100 years old. We use only the finest ingredients from authentic Mexican spices to free range organic meats, pork and poultry and fresh veggies.
