Made exclusively for HELP USA to benefit therapeutic art services that address traumas experienced by homeless and formerly homeless people in New York City. New Leaf edition print was inspired by Khan's ceramic mural installation permanently installed in the lobby of NEW LEAF, a new family shelter opening in Brooklyn, New York in 2025.
Baseera Khan (b. Texas) lives and works in Queens and received their MFA in Art and Architecture from Cornell University and their BFA in Visual Arts from University of North Texas. Khan is faculty for the MFA program, School of Visual Arts.
Recent solo exhibitions include: Ten & 0 Uno, Venice, Italy, Art Basel, Switzerland; Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden, Washington D.C.; Georgetown University, Washington D.C.; Contemporary Arts Center, Cincinnati; Moody Center For The Arts, Houston, Texas Brooklyn Museum, Brooklyn, New York; The Kitchen, NYC, Queens Museum; Simone Subal Gallery in NY, and Niru Ratnam Gallery in London. Khan was recently honored by the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council for its Michael Richards Award for Visual Art, Powerhouse Arts, and Hirschhorn Museum,
