It is our mission to provide our community with education in and access to the ceramic arts. Youth who engage in the arts early are more likely to develop confidence, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Clay encourages kids to think in 3D, experiment without fear of failure, and see beauty in imperfection.

The CSoM After School & Outreach Program provides youth immersive experiences in visual arts, by improving their understanding of contemporary art and providing free-of charge hands on experiences in clay. We also have a youth scholarship program that helps fund registration for our paid programming for those facing financial barriers. Scholarships offered include full or partial scholarships for weeklong Spring Break and Summer camps as well as Family Workshops.

By removing cost barriers, these programs ensure that all youth-regardless of socioeconomic status-can access artistic resources and opportunities. We are seeking funding to increase our scholarship pool and to continue to bolster after school and outreach activities. Any level of giving is welcome!
