As a confident species for nose-to-nose viewing with guests, our slender-tailed meerkats are fascinating to watch as they navigate their arid savanna home and heated cave. The keeper will be sharing insights into their animal behavior, both as individuals and as a group, and offer a rare glimpse at the behind the scenes care and training for these carnivores. Guests brave enough to assist in the training session will be able to offer squirming worms via tongs as a reward for positive participation.
