Frank has been coaching tennis for over 22 years. He has experience coaching all levels, including adults and juniors. He was formerly the Head Tennis Professional at Sea Island. His certifications include USPTA Elite, USTA High Performance Junior Development, and PPR Certified Coach. After receiving a tennis scholarship from Jefferson State, Frank traveled on the Professional Tour, competing in Mexico and the United States. In 2005, Frank achieved the #1 ranking in USTA Georgia and Southern Men's Open Divisions. In 2011, Frank won the 5.5 USTA National Championship. That same year, Frank had the opportunity to be the hitting partner of former world #1 Caroline Wozniacki.

Christmas by the Sea - First Grade

Shell-abrate the holidays. The first-grade class created a one-of-a-kind abstract piece of holiday art. To create this stunning masterpiece, each first-grade student added a handmade ornament to adorn a tree made from oyster shells. This beautiful art is displayed in a 16" x 31" shadow box frame.

A Great Catch - Second Grade

Casting lines and making memories. Our second graders collaborated on a large multimedia art project featuring three collaged fish: a grouper, bass, and sailfish. Students used large pieces of paper to create abstract fish. The fish were arranged on a painted canvas with fragments of maps featuring Saint Simons Island to make a striking collaborative work.

A Day in Paradise - Third Grade

Nothing soothes the soul like a day by the ocean! While getting lost in this masterpiece you can practically hear the waves crashing. Each student made a paper umbrella for the beach scene and added their signature in cursive. This work of art would be the perfect addition to any home on the coast.

Nativity - Fourth Grade

Let the spirit and true meaning of Christmas fill your heart this May. As a tradition to our Derby Day projects, the Frederica Academy Fourth Grade class have modeled and created a nativity set. This nativity scene makes the original Christmas story come to life. As each child contributed to the making of this scene with their initials imprinted, this nativity set students have thoughtfully and intricately created a scene to fill your home with Christmas warmth.

Our Lower School kids have learned about many different kinds of music this year, and one of their favorites has been musical theater! We are so excited to share that Ms. Wisner is offering a one-time after school watch party as an auction item. This after-school watch party is available for up to 15 kids who will get to enjoy a private viewing of "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang" in the Lower School Music Room. "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang," rated G, is a musical about a down-on-his-luck inventor who turns a broken-down Grand Prix car into a fancy vehicle for his children, and then they go off on a magical fantasy adventure to save their grandfather in a far-off land. This watch party provides an opportunity for your kids to find out while hanging out with their favorite music teacher. The best part is that the kids get to bring their sleeping bags, pillows, lovies, and blankets to the watch party all while enjoying special snacks and drinks. You do not want to miss this!

FA Knights, Let's Go! A lucky student will serve as an honorary varsity cheerleader for a home football game this fall. Your child will receive FA gear, participate during the football team run-through, and join the cheerleaders in some sideline cheers during the game. This is one priceless experience your child is bound to love! Expires December 2025. Must be coordinated two weeks in advance.
