Morgan grew up always being drawn to various art forms. Since the age of 10, she has engaged in photography, creative writing, and sculpting. She discovered ceramics her first year of high school and soon realized it to be her favorite endeavor to pursue. Since she has other interests, she is pursuing a career in conservation work. She received her degrees as a B.S. in Biology as well as a B.S. in Ecology; however, she also included a Studio Art minor since she has never been able to let her passion for the arts go. As part of that pursuit, she learned much more about the three-dimensional arts, including sculpting, construction, and large metal welding, alongside ceramics. Whilst she worked various jobs in animal care and conservation, she then took classes in ceramics and also found an interest in textiles and painting as hobbies at home. Currently, she is attending ECU for her master's degree in Recreation Sciences with a focus in Conservation Psychology and quickly discovered Emerge downtown. From the beginning of her masters (and hopefully well beyond the end) she has honed her ceramics skills there in hopes of becoming good enough to sell my artwork someday. Even if she never can sell, she has found being able to create from clay rewarding enough.
