Soccer has been a lifelong passion of mine, and now as a coach for young girls, I see every day how much the sport can teach us. Soccer isn't just about scoring goals-it's about building confidence, teamwork, discipline, and resilience. These are life lessons that extend far beyond the field.
The Chicago Fire Foundation embodies this spirit, providing kids with opportunities to grow through soccer while equipping them with tools for academic and social success. Taking on my first marathon is a new challenge, and I'm drawing on the lessons I've learned from soccer to train mentally and physically for this race. I'm proud to support a foundation that gives back to the Chicago community and impacts young lives through the sport I love.
Your donation supports the Chicago Fire Foundation's P.L.A.Y.S. (Participate, Learn, Achieve, Youth, Soccer) Program. P.L.A.Y.S. is committed to enhancing the academic performance and development of key social and emotional learning (SEL) skills of 3rd-5th grade students through a sports-based curriculum across some of the most underserved neighborhoods of Chicago.
