As I embark on my 3rd World Major Marathon in Chicago, I am eagerly looking forward to fundraising and accepting donations for the Chicago Fire Foundation's P.L.A.Y.S (Participate, Learn, Achieve, Youth, Soccer) Program. P.L.A.Y.S. is committed to enhancing the academic performance and development of key social and emotional learning (SEL) skills of 3rd-5th grade students through a sports-based curriculum across some of the most underserved neighborhoods of Chicago. As a big soccer/sports fan this is a great program that I am excited to support. I look forward to starting training in Mid-June and running on October 12th, I hope to see you all there!
