I'm running the Chicago Marathon as a personal tribute to my children, who are my entire world. My son was born at 26 weeks and spent the first five months of his life in the NICU. Now four years old, he's made incredible progress after being diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy, though he still can't walk. He inspires me every day by achieving milestones we were once told he couldn't. My daughter is three, and together, they motivate me to do big things. I want both of them to see me run this marathon and know that they can achieve great things too, no matter the challenges. This race is for them, as a reminder of what can be accomplished through perseverance and love.
