Janet Fletcher is a member of the Guilde Internationale des Fromagers, an invitation-only international cheese guild originally founded in France to connect and honor experts in the world of cheese.

Janet Fletcher is an award-winning food writer with three James Beard Awards. She is the author of numerous books, including Cheese & Wine, and the Audible lecture series "Cultured: The Epic Story of Cheese." Janet writes the weekly Planet Cheese blog, has taught cheese appreciation classes nationwide, and previously served as staff food writer and cheese columnist for the San Francisco Chronicle. Her work has appeared in The New York Times, Saveur, Fine Cooking, and Food & Wine.
