Learn to sail on Lake Minnetonka! With the guidance of a knowledgeable Lake Minnetonka Sailing School coach, your group will learn the basics of sailing with a classroom lesson, rigging the boat, and setting sail. This one-of-a-kind cutting board was crafted by an MHS student in woodworking class specifically for Dream Makers 2025.

The piece was crafted using exotic woods (padauk, tiger wood and purple heart), and was finished with 2 coats of food grade oil and 2 coats of food grade conditioner. The board measures 13" x 10"

Last year, MPSF funded a grant of 3 woodworking lathes, and this cutting board is an amazing example of the kinds of things MHS students are able to accomplish with the resources they can access in their woodworking classes.

This large (approx. 4' H x 5' W), vintage 1949 Aerial Lake Minnetonka wall map is truly a slice of local history! The Mark Hurd Mapping Co. of Minneapolis made the image from 123 separate aerial photographs that indicate lake depths.

Back story: The unique map was found in the attic of an old Excelsior home. The previous owner adhered the map onto plywood and over time the piece has yellowed and worn in some places, which adds to its character and charm.

This one of a kind item would make a charming display piece in a local business, organization, home or cabin.
