• World Pediatrics will have more than 70 teams of medical professionals travel from the US to partner countries to provide direct surgical and diagnostic care to over 3,000 children this year alone.
• Surgical procedures done in-country are a cost-effective way to provide necessary surgery without the disruption of a child having to travel abroad.
• Over the last 20 years, more than 750 medical teams have traveled to provide care to over 24,000 unique children.

• For the children whose complex care requires a trip to the United States, having a safe and comfortable place to call home during their time in the US is critically important to their emotional wellbeing and physical recovery.
• World Pediatrics partners with other organizations like the Ronald McDonald House and in 15 cities in the US, to ensure that their care and comfort is of utmost importance.

• while a family is in the US, we ensure that all their needs are met and the comforts of home, including familiar foods and meals, are provided

• We take correct and quick diagnosis for granted here in the US; for many children in low-resource countries, that is beyond reach.
