Pius XI Popes Boys Basketball: Fundamentals Camp

Sessions are divided into camps for incoming 4th - 6th graders (8:00-10:00 am) and incoming 7th-9th graders (10:30 am-12:30 pm).

Pius XI Popes Boys Basketball: Shooting Camp

Calling all young basketball enthusiasts! Join us for an unforgettable shooting camp (June 23-26, 2025). Our experienced coaches, including Boy's Basketball Head Coach Dan Carey '00, will guide you through drills and techniques to elevate your shooting skills to the next level. Session are divided into camps for incoming 4th- 6th graders (8:00 - 10:00 am) and incoming 7th - 9th graders (10:00 am - 12:00 pm).

Calling all runners! Come join our Jr. Popes Cross Country Team, open to boys and girls in grades 5th through 8th. Are you ready for cross country season? At Pius XI Cross Country camp, we'll show you how the Popes get ready to run fast. In each session you will see a different type of training run, play cross country themed games, and learn the skills to be a successful runner. Come run with the Popes and gain the fitness you need for the upcoming season! Camp runs July 14-18 from 9:00am - 10:00am.

This camp is for boys and girls entering grades 4-9 who want to become successful runners. Beginners welcome! Have fun and make new friends as you learn proper stretching and running mechanics, good breathing, pace techniques for a longer run, and stamina. Campers will enjoy running games, challenges, and a fun race the last week. Coach Mary Riegert will oversee the camp and will be assisted by Jerad Ratkowski, Krissy Johnson, and John Fischer - all Pius XI alumni! Sessions are held at Greenfield Park (enter from Lincoln Ave) & the Pius XI Fieldhouse. Camp is held June 17, 19, 24, 26 and July 1, 8, & 10 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Learn the basics of computer science by creating programs on a real digital computer board! In this hands-on camp, campers will use miniature computer boards to design, program, test, and analyze their own software to solve real-life problems. Campers will create accounts with Microsoft Makecode that they can use to keep programming after the camp ends! No experience is necessary. This camp is offered for 5th through 8th graders the week of June 23-27 from 8:30 - 10 a.m.

Cheer on the Pius XI Popes all year long with this season pass! You and a guest will receive entry into all regular season home games in the 2025-2026 school year for football, boys and girls volleyball, and boys and girls basketball.

Don't miss this opportunity to have your child experience practice planning, film time, football drills, and offensive/defensive concepts used at the high school and collegiate levels, as well as a 7-on-7 tournament conducted on the final day of camp. All instruction is performed by Pius XI football coaches, including Head Coach Jesse Stewart '07, who have experience as former collegiate athletes or have coached at the high school or collegiate level. July 15 - 17, 2025 from 3:30pm-5:30pm. This camp is for 4th - 9th graders.

You and three guests can join Pius XI President Jack Herbert for two hours of fun in Pius XI's Golf Simulator on a mutually agreed upon date. Jack will be the first to say he's not the best golfer (we think he's just being humble), but he's definitely good company. An assortment of tasty beverages will also be provided to round out your experience.
