This meter can measure forces from 0.01N to 20N and would be used in multiple labs involving forces, such as Newton's Laws and vector addition.
This is an expandable system that would be used for multiple labs and hands-on interactive investigations in Physics. Topics investigated using this system include: velocity, acceleration, Newton's laws, forces, collisions, and the conservation of momentum and energy.
Students will be able to demonstrate numerous physics principles such as Newton's 1st Law (the Law of Inertia), Conservation of Momentum, the effect of Friction, and Centripetal Motion. Using hands-on labs helps the students apply and remember these concepts.

STM's Nursing Assistant Certification Program provides students with real-world opportunities to gain the skills, experience, and professional certification needed for immediate job placement and sustained career success in nursing. After completing the program, which includes clinical hours at a local healthcare facility, students can become Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), a professional credential required to support Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) in patient-care facilities.
The nursing program costs approximately $1,000 per student, including MATC's tuition, textbooks, and clothing for clinical hours. Can you sponsor a student's participation in the program for Spring 2025?
