We hope to provide that opportunity again this year with Romeo & Juliet at the Marcus Performing Arts Center!

This trip is designed to pique the interest of students who are looking to enrich their knowledge of our city. The trip will be presented with an engaging exploration of information from John Gurda's The Making of Milwaukee. Students will learn how the city has been shaped during the war, the civil rights movements, and the modern metropolitan age. This trip is a continuation of the History of Milwaukee course and will allow students to immerse themselves in the life and historical architecture of Milwaukee.

The goggles distort a student's vision either upside-down or shift it to the side. Students can then practice performing various tasks to demonstrate how visual perception is modified in the brain regardless of the sensory input.

The Muse 2 Headband is a (relatively) cheap way to explore brainwaves. It can be used in a classroom to show real-time brain activity from EEG imaging.

These headbands will be used in our Psychology and Biology classes to:

• Demonstrate how brain waves are tracked and change
• Explore how various activities alter brain waves (reading vs. speaking vs. physical activity)
• Set up a mini psych lab and do a practice research-based writing question on brain imaging.
