FAQs
WHO: All SFA families, parish members, and guests are welcome and are encouraged to attend! Parents-only event.
WHAT: The theme this year is CASINO ROYALE! Join us for a fun-filled evening of fellowship, and the opportunity to bid on fantastic silent and live auction items to help support the school for the following year's SFA School Leadership Council budget!
WHAT'S INCLUDED: Beer, seltzer, wine, seated dinner, entertainment & mingling.
ARE THERE VIP TABLES AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE? Yes! VIP tables are $2,500. That pricing includes admission for 10, premium wine, reserved, premium seating, and a swag bag.
IF I DON'T PURCHASE A VIP TABLE, WILL I HAVE A PLACE TO SIT? Yup! Each ticket includes a seat at any open table. First come, first serve.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR? Cocktail attire is welcomed, but certainly not mandatory. With this theme, we thought it would be fun to wear something a little jazzed up, but we totally get it if that's not your thing. Business casual is always acceptable!
WHERE: We're back at the school this year! The auction will be held at St. Francis of Assisi gym, with casino tables and games spilling into the cafeteria.
WHEN: Saturday, February 1st, 2024, 5:30-11PM
HOW LONG WILL THE AUCTION TAKE? WHAT DO I TELL MY BABYSITTER? Doors open at 5:30 with silent auction bidding and open bars. We will have dinner, and the program will start at 6:45. The live portion of the auction is scheduled to end around 9:15. The music will end around 11:00.
WHY: The auction is our school's largest fundraiser! All money raised goes directly to our school for curriculum enhancements, teacher support, class parties, hospitality, field trips, and other identified needs for the growth of our school.
AM I GOING TO BE PRESSURED TO BUY SOMETHING? NO! Just coming to the event helps financially, we promise. And more importantly, you will leave having a fun night with dinner, live music, and time with new & old friends. We do however want you to know that the price range of items is wide with many affordable items.

MORE ABOUT HOW YOUR PARTICIPATION HELPS!
The annual Bid 4 the Kids auction is our school's largest fundraiser! All money raised goes directly to our SFA School Leadership Council for curriculum enhancements including field trips and bussing, STEM, related arts, teacher support and hospitality including birthdays, playground maintenance, class parties, and other identified needs for growth of our school. All of which can be reviewed on our 2024-25 SFA School Leadership Council budget summary found here.
As we approach regionalization, it is important to note that all money raised stays within SFA and will continue to support our students as they grow in their Catholic faith and develop academically. Just your attendance at the event helps financially, plus adds to the overall enjoyment, sense of community and fellowship! Thank you for being part of the SFA community!
