It was a tough decision but we finally decided to sell half interest and possession in Lignite. We will show him jointly in our name and the name of the buyer in the 2025 National Show. EZ Lignite was the 2024 Reserve National Champion Bull and Grand Champion Fullblood Bull at the 2024 Iowa State Fair. His disposition is incredible. His conformation is flawless. His dam is an exceptional Boxcar daughter who produced EZ Kleo 8K, the top selling heifer in our November, 2023 sale. Lignite was an exceptional calf from birth - he's always had that eye appeal, style and balance. He combines our strongest bloodlines, Bullseye, Boxcar and All Jacked Up. His granddam has had 8 calves as a 9 1/2 year old with a 365 day calving interval and an average weaning weight of 460#. His dam has had 4 calves as a 5 1/2 year old and an average weaning weight of 455#. She meets all the criteria to become a Dam of Merit. Lignite may very well be the most phenotypically attractive bull we have ever raised. He's a real herd builder. BW: 48#, Hip Ht: 43 1/2" at 17 months of age.
