This miniature of a girl daydreaming was painted by a young Uzbek woman studying ancient miniature painting techniques from an internationally recognized Uzbek artist, Davlat Toshev in Bukhara, Uzbekistan. It is on recycled paper also produced at the studio, and the background border displays oil painting techniques from the 14th century.

Davlat Toshev is dedicated to training the next generation of Uzbek artists in ancient techniques to ensure the rich cultural heritage of miniature painting is maintained for the future. He was secretly taught the principles and techniques of Persian miniature painting by his father, at the time when the state discouraged practicing it as a religious art. In addition to restoring ancient manuscripts and creating new paintings, Davlat dedicates a lot of time and effort to teaching children, believing that every child has talent and potential.

As the name suggests, this Cultural Heritage of Peru has its origin in the Ayacucho region. It is one of the greatest expressions of Peruvian art and an ancient Andean tradition that remains relevant to this day. Although its origin dates back to the Colonial era with the arrival of the Spanish, it was the artisans of Ayacucho who, following modeling and sculpting techniques, adapted this cultural heritage to their own customs. These are colorful rectangular boxes of various sizes made of wood, with two doors that are attached to the base by leather strips. Inside, different scenes (religious, everyday, or customary) are composed with great precision and skill. Today, it is possible to find them for sale in various parts of the country.

Ath Petrochilos is a British-Greek visual artist currently based in London, UK. Working as an abstract painter, he incorporates elements of symbolism and fantasy into his paintings while exploring the metaphysical nature of observation, creation and change. Utilizing traditional painters concepts of line, distance, negative space, color, mark , speed, repetition and form, Ath Petrochilos not only creates dynamic compositions which often extend beyond the canvas but also invites viewers to contemplate the complexities and limitations of interpretation and meaning.

He has a personal connection with Ukraine and was living and working in Kyiv until the full-scale military invasion.
